Section 15 of the Charter – Where are we on equality?
This workshop will allow participants to further their knowledge concerning: • The evolution of the courts' approach to analyzing and applying s. 15 of the Charter; • Recent trends in the case law on equality rights; • Emerging issues in s. 15 of the Charter jurisprudence.
Standards of Judicial Review
This course will provide participants with an understanding of the standards of judicial review and their significance in administrative law. By the end of the session, participants will understand the different standards of review and their application by the courts in reviewing administrative decisions in the federal context.

Statutory Interpretation
Participants will review the methodology of legislative interpretation, including its theoretical foundations and the different categories of interpretative arguments. The learning will be reinforced by case analysis and group discussion.
