Introduction to Charter Statements
This course is a brief introduction to Charter Statements. It explains the Minister’s duty under s. 4.2 of the Department of Justice Act, the format and purpose of Charter Statements, and the process, roles and responsibilities involved in preparing them. It is aimed mainly at LSU counsel involved in legislative initiatives.
