Description

Learn how permissions allow teams at Justice to access and work with the content that they need in the Digital Workspace (DW). These short videos introduce principles such as Open by Default and the roles and responsibilities of the different standard groups on the DW. The second video is intended for site administrators who have completed DW Site Administrator - Permissions. The video reinforces the knowledge and skills gained in the mandatory, instructor-led course. It can also serve as a quick refresher if it has been a while since you took the course.

Learning Objectives:

• Define what permissions are and how they relate to Open by Default

• Describe the roles played by the four standard groups in the DW

• Check permissions on their content in the DW

• Locate and interpret the information contained at site level permissions

• Outline the “golden rules of permissions management”

Presented by: The Digital Workspace Team in collaboration with the Centre of Expertise for Learning and Professional Development (CoELPD).
