In today’s evolving workplace, effective leadership requires more than technical expertise. It demands emotional intelligence, adaptability, resilience, and a commitment to developing people. The Justice Managers’ Network Symposium 2026 will bring together managers from across the Department of Justice for a day of learning, inspiration, and professional growth.

This year’s symposium will focus on empowering managers to lead with confidence, support employee well-being, and foster high-performing teams in times of change. Participants will gain practical tools, valuable insights, and fresh perspectives from expert speakers and senior leaders.

Learning Objectives/ Topics covered:

• Become the Boss Your Team Wants You to Be: Strategies for developing employees, building trust, and helping team members reach their full potential.
• Managing Mental Health in Times of Change in the Workplace: Approaches to supporting psychological well-being and resilience during periods of uncertainty and transformation.
• EQ-i for Managers: Understanding the role of emotional intelligence in leadership and enhancing your ability to connect, communicate, and lead effectively.
• Executive Panel Discussion: Senior executives will share their career journeys, leadership lessons, and advice on progressing to executive-level positions.
• Workload Management: Practical techniques for managing competing priorities, improving productivity, and promoting sustainable performance.

This course is bilingual, with simultaneous interpretation available in both official languages.

Client: The Justice Managers Community Network in collaboration with the Centre of Expertise for Learning and Professional Development (CoELPD).
