Description

Please note that the target audience for this session is Justice Canada managers and supervisors only.

This presentation highlights seven key mentoring actions. By applying these key actions, managers can improve their communication and relationship-building skills. These key actions can also help managers better understand employee challenges, enabling them to empower team members to solve problems independently, leading to more engaged and productive teams while managers gain more space to focus on wider strategies.

Learning Objectives/ Topics covered:

By the end of this session, participants will be able to:

  • identify seven key mentoring actions;
  • explain the value of each key action and how to implement it;
  • apply the seven key mentoring actions in their communication with employees

Client: The Justice Managers Community Network in collaboration with the Centre of Expertise for Learning and Professional Development (CoELPD).
