Description
Please note that this course is open to Justice Canada employees only.
This session will explore the common signs of a mental health challenge and offer practical guidance for supporting someone through a decline in their well-being, from recognizing the early warning signals to knowing how and when to step in. Participants will also learn how to set healthy boundaries, including how to say no with confidence, and gain a clearer, demystified understanding of self-care that moves beyond the buzzword to what it actually looks like in daily life. The session closes with practical tools participants can start using right away, both to support colleagues and to protect their own well-being.
Learning objectives / Topics covered:
- Recognize the common signs and early warning signals of a mental health challenge in themselves or others.
- Apply practical strategies for supporting a colleague experiencing a decline in their well-being, including knowing when and how to step in.
