Description
Please note that this course is open to Justice Canada legal professionals only (lawyers, notaries who are members of the Chambre des notaires du Québec and paralegals).
The purpose is to discuss current events and trends regarding artificial intelligence and technology law.
Learning Objectives / Topics covered
- Understand key AI technology and policy developments from the past year
- Identify emerging legal risks and trends relevant to federal institutions
- Apply legal considerations to real world AI tools and client scenarios
- Provide guidance on internal uses of AI in Justice legal practice
This course is bilingual, with interpretation available in both official languages.
In-Person location (NCR): National Library and Archives, 395 Wellington St, Ottawa
Client: The Centre for Artificial Intelligence and Technology Law in collaboration with the Centre of Expertise for Learning and Professional Development (CoELPD).
