Description

This virtual forum will bring together guests from inside and outside the Government of Canada to better understand the psychological underpinnings of anti-Black racism, the psychological and physiological effects on individuals, workplaces and institutions, and strategies to support non-Black people, and Black people experiencing racism and discrimination.

The discussion is part of the Canadian Black Justice Strategy and is informed by the External Steering Group's report, Steps for Transformative Change and Framework Document. The forum will include a presentation based on a research paper by a recognized Canadian expert, followed by a facilitated discussion.
