This course is intended for those interested in the drafting of legislative texts in English. Jurilinguists and legistic revisors are encouraged to take this course as well.

Participants will learn the fundamental elements of drafting of Canadian federal legislative texts in English. The learning will be reinforced by practical drafting exercises, group discussion and examples drawn from the existing legislative corpus.
This course addresses the application of the principles of legislative drafting to the English version of Canadian federal legislative texts.
