This course is part of the Disclosure Project Management series offered by National eDiscovery and Litigation Support Services (NeDLSS). Disclosure Project Management is the eDiscovery framework adopted ‎by the Department of Justice.

The presenters provide an overview of the considerations facing legal professionals on the use artificial intelligence. After explaining what constitutes artificial intelligence and some of the emerging issues, the presenters provide an overview of the guidance provided to legal professionals from law societies and Canadian courts. They also provide information about how artificial intelligence is being used at Justice (as of October 2024), and an overview of the use of machine learning artificial intelligence features to review documents.
