Dates:
- French session - 2 days of 3 hours on October 3 and 10, 2024.
- English session - 2 days of 3 hours on October 23 and 30, 2024.
The course will cover the various steps of the federal legislative process, from policy development to the coming into force of Acts.
Topics covered:
- Policy development
- Authority to draft
- Preparation of a Bill
- Parliamentary process
- Coming into Force of Acts
Target Audience: Any federal Government officials who may become involved in the legislative process during its various stages, including policy officers and Legislative Services Branch personnel.
Registration deadline: 5 working days prior to the course date.
Participants are responsible for adding their training activities to their Outlook calendars.
