Description

The UN’s #16Days campaign marks 16 days of activism and education on gender-based violence. Join award-winning educator Julie S. Lalonde for an interactive webinar on bystander intervention to create safer communities. Participants will unpack common barriers to intervention, learn why people hesitate to get involved and will delve into the psychology of bystander apathy. From there, participants will learn the continuum of intervention, and conclude by practicing their new bystander skills through scenarios. This is an opportunity to move the allyship conversation from theory to practice.

NOTE: This course is in English, with simultaneous interpretation available in French.
