Description
During this information session, we will begin with a contextual overview to highlight the importance of the GC Workplace Accessibility Passport (the Passport) . We will then proceed with a detailed step-by-step exploration of the various features of the digital Passport application. You will be invited to ask questions throughout the session to encourage a constructive dialogue.
The GC Workplace Accessibility Passport helps federal public service employees with disabilities obtain the tools, supports and measures they need to perform at their best and succeed in the workplace. It facilitates recruitment, retention, and career advancement for persons with disabilities. The Passport supports employees with disabilities to identify and document the barriers they may face at work and propose potential solutions, while fostering open dialogue and collaboration with managers. By supporting inclusion and accessibility, we are creating a more welcoming and barrier-free public service where employees can be equipped to succeed.
