Description

Connection is the backbone of our technological age. It’s one of the main reasons that social media platforms are so popular, and why some people love work-saving smart devices. But connection, whether it’s intentional or accidental, can also mean that users are at greater risk of engaging with online technologies. This course will help you head off risks showing you how to take correct steps when travelling with technology.

Learning Objectives:

By the end of this learning activity, participants will be able to:

  • Identify potential problems with using smart devices in work spaces (at home), and know how to mitigate risks.
  • Complete the necessary steps to protect assets and information when travelling for work or teleworking abroad.

Presented by: Emergency Management and National Security in collaboration with the Center of Expertise for Learning and Professional Development (CoELPD).
