Description

​​This live virtual course will focus on the framework of the EQ-i 2.0 emotional intelligence model and familiarize participants with the key aspects of the assessment. Participants will review their reports while reflecting on how emotional intelligence (EI) influences their lives. This training will help to fine-tune their approach to EI and offer insights into how to be more purposeful and deliberate in their relationships. Participants will discover the importance of EI in every aspect of life, helping them to focus on improving their whole self. During the event, participants will have an opportunity to:

  • Recognize emotional triggers
  • Learn about the concept of emotional intelligence
  • Increase awareness of emotions and their impact on behaviour in the workplace
  • Start an action plan to develop EI competencies.

After attending the course, participants may choose to meet with a certified EQi-2.0 coach to discuss their individualized Workplace Report and discuss strategies to implement their action plan.​

Complete EQi Assessment prior to attending

Learning objectives:

By the end of this learning activity, participants will be able to:

  • Explain what emotional intelligence is
  • Identify the 5 composites and 15 subscales of the EQ-I 2.0 model
  • Interpret their EQ-i assessment in a meaningful way
  • Examine how high and low scores on the composite scales and subscales impact behaviour and relationships
  • Implement strategies to increase EI skills and improve professional and personal relationships
