This course provides learners with an overview of the staffing framework in the Public Service.

Learning Objectives:

 By the end of this learning activity, participants will understand how the following topics affect hiring at Justice Canada:

  • Who the Operational Resource Planning, Recruitment and Staffing Unit team at Justice Canada is and what they do
  • How clients can help the Operational Resource Planning, Recruitment and Staffing Unit team
  • The legislative framework of hiring
  • Different staffing options
  • How to use the various staffing tools
