Description
This session provides an overview of the changes to the Public Service Employment Act (PSEA) and the impact of these changes on staffing activities. It will also allow participants to put into practice the concepts learned through a case study.
Learning objectives:
At the end of this learning activity, participants:
- Have put into practice their understanding of the changes to the Public Service Employment Act (PSEA);
- Know their own role and responsibilities in implementing these changes;
- Have practiced their ability to identify potential biases and barriers and find ways to eliminate or lessen their impact within the context of a case study and using available resources;
- Be better equipped to conduct fair assessments that meet the requirements of the PSEA.
