Description

This session is a good overview of what you need to know about applying to a process in the federal government. It will help you better understand the statement of merit criteria, answer the screening questions and adapting your résumé to the job in order to maximize your chances of being pre-selected.

Learning Objectives:

 By the end of this learning activity, participants will be able to:

  • Learn tips and tricks on how to apply to a process.
  • Understand Job Opportunity Notices – Statement of Merit Criteria (i.e. completing the screening questions).
  • Be aware of the importance of an effective résumé and how to adapt it to a specific job advertisement.
