Description

Please note that this course is only open to Justice Canada Legal Professionals. Specifically, the target audience for this course is Justice counsel.

Dates:

  • French session - 2 days of 3 hours on September 24 and 25 (9:00am to 12:00pm ET).
  • English session - 2 days of 3 hours on October 22 and 23 (1:00pm to 4:00pm ET).

We have developed a new in-class course for litigators who have carriage of litigation files arising under the Access to Information Act and Privacy Act. The course aims to provide litigators with an introduction to ATIP law. It will also explain to litigators the specific legal and procedural issues that arise in Access to Information Act and Privacy Act judicial review applications.
