This recorded course is part of a series of Nuix Discover courses offered by the National eDiscovery and Litigation Support Services (NeDLSS). Nuix Discover is the document review platform used by the Department of Justice. NeDLSS offers three streams of Nuix Discover courses: Basics, Analytics, and Case Administration. This course will focus on Nuix Discover Analytics.
Building an effective search string is a required skill for all legal professionals. This course explains what what search strings are, how to build them, and how to use them in Nuix Discover. The presenters explain how to use different Boolean connectors. They also encourage participants to apply their knowledge by looking at different scenarios and identify the appropriate course of action.
Note that the information in this course can be applied not only to working in document review, but also in conducting legal research.
