Description
At the very start of the self-awareness journey is Insights Discovery. A world leading psychometric tool based on the psychology of Carl Jung, Insights Discovery is designed to help people understand themselves, understand others, and make the most of the relationships that affect them in the workplace.
The Insights Discovery methodology uses a simple and memorable four-colour model to help people understand their style, their strengths and the value they bring to the team. We call these the colour energies, and it is the unique mix of Fiery Red, Sunshine Yellow, Earth Green and Cool Blue energies, which determines how and why people behave the way they do.
Registered participants will receive an invitation to complete a short questionnaire, which will generate a detailed and unique personality profile. The profile provides a framework for self-understanding and development, along with effective strategies for interaction to help better respond to the demands of their environment.
This three-hour session requires completion of a thirty-minute pre-session online self-paced course. Participants will be given the opportunity to create their own action plans to put into practice the contents of the learning session.
Learning objectives:
By the end of this learning event, participants will be able to:
- State the value that each colour energy brings to individual and team performance;
- Use the language of the four colour energies to describe preferences in self and others;
- Recognize colour energy preferences in others;
- Adapt their behaviour to connect more effectively with others
