This is a specialized public international law course on international treaties. The course will cover what treaties are and how they are made; the rules of the Vienna Convention on the Law of Treaties including in particular on treaty interpretation; the relationship of treaties with Canadian domestic law; and the implementation of treaties in domestic law.
