Description
This is the second part of a blended learning program designed to prepare Justice Canada facilitators in delivering effective instructor-led virtual training. This six-hour workshop will be delivered over a period of two days, lasting three hours per day.
Effective Virtual Training is a highly interactive workshop which aims to build facilitation competencies for the virtual environment. It is part two of the Blended Virtual Trainer Program designed to prepare Justice Canada facilitators to deliver effective instructor-led virtual training. This six-hour workshop is delivered over two days for a duration of three hours each day.
Important: It is strongly recommended to complete the Foundations for Designing Effective Virtual Classroom Training online self-paced training prior to registering to this course.

Part 1 : October 22nd - 1pm to 4 pm (ET)
Part 2: October 24th - 1pm to 4 pm (ET)
Learning objectives:
By the end of this learning activity, participants will be able to:
- Write clear learning objectives for a training session
- Identify useful learning methodologies and virtual tools to use in a determined training scenario.
- Critique the effectiveness of learning methodologies and virtual tools
- Design a virtual learning activity
- Deliver an engaging learning activity using the MS Teams tools and/or other virtual tools
- Apply effective facilitation skills and best practices in virtual training
