Description
This course is an overview of security practices for the transport, transmittal, and storage of Protected A and B records and physical assets while working remotely.
Learning objectives:
By the end of this learning activity, participants will be able to:
- Recognize which records and physical assets they are permitted to work with at home.
- Understand approved methods of transporting Protected A and B records and physical assets from the workplace to their home.
- Understand approved methods of storing Protected A and B information and physical assets in their home. (Records and laptop computers)
- Understand Justice computer protocols at home.
- Understand guidelines for printing Unclassified and Protected Government of Canada information at home.
- Understand approved methods for destruction of transitory (waste) records at home.
- Understand other physical security considerations that should be made when working from home.
- Identify approved methods of Protected A and B voice communications when working from home.
- Understand the Government of Canada policies and legislation that dictate the guidelines for the transport, storage and transmittal of Protected A and B records and physical assets.
