Description

Despite the current COVID-19 situation, government organizations still need to follow directives and regulations in order to maintain a safe and secure work environment. Every government premises has a building emergency evacuations organization (BEO) which responds to emergencies in order to ensure the health and safety of all persons employed and other persons in the building for whom the federal government is responsible. The Floor Emergency Warden Training will teach Department of Justice (JUS) employees the role and procedures to follow during an emergency evacuation at JUS.

Learning objectives:

By the end of this learning activity, participants will be able to:

  • Act as a Floor Emergency Warden during emergency evacuations;
  • Know the procedures to follow when evacuating a building;
  • Help the Chief Emergency Warden prepare and implement emergency and evacuation procedures

Presented by: Corporate Services Branch in collaboration with the Centre of Expertise for Learning and Professional Development (CoELPD).

Registration deadline : 5 working days prior to the course date.
