Description

Basic half-day course offering lifesaving first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) skills for the workplace or home. Course meets legislation requirements for provincial/territorial worker safety and insurance boards and includes the latest first aid and CPR guidelines.

Learning Objectives:

By the end of this learning activity, participants will be able to:

  • Recognize and respond to cardiovascular emergencies and choking for adults, children, and babies and know how to use an automated external defibrillator (AED)

Presented by: Organizational Health Programs in collaboration with the Centre of Expertise for Learning and Professional Development (CoELPD).

Registration deadline : 5 working days prior to the course date.

Cost: Free (subject to Training Cancellation Policy)
