Description

Please note that to register for this course, you must take the prerequisite course, DW Site Administrator - Managing Your Site (016365). You will be unenrolled if you did not complete the prerequisite course first.

This hands-on training session is intended for individuals who have been appointed the Site Administrator role and are comfortable navigating and working within the Digital Workspace (DW) environment while using the site actions menus and site features.

This course, along with the DW Site Administrator - Managing your site (016365) course, are mandatory sessions required to gain Administrator access to your site. 

Learning Objectives:

Upon completing this learning activity, participants will be able to:

  • Understand the basic concepts of group permissions and inheritance
  • Set the various permission levels
  • Create and manage permission groups
  • Verify, modify and apply individual permissions on a site library or folder.

Presented by: Digital Workspace and Information Standards team (DWIS) in collaboration with the Centre of Expertise for Learning and Professional Development (CoELPD).
