Description

Each employee of the Department of Justice has a role to play in maintaining a healthy and safe working environment! The Armed Intruder: Do you know what to do? sessions, presented by the Safety, Security and Emergency Management Division (SSEMD), provide information to departmental staff to assist them in developing their personal action plan in the event of an armed intruder entering the workplace. Through a one hour, interactive presentation, including a short video, participants will be made aware of possible options such as "Run", "Hide" and "Defend". There will also be specific information regarding the upcoming mandatory lockdown drill.

Presented by: Safety, Security and Emergency Management Division (SSEMD) in collaboration with the Centre of Expertise for Learning and Professional Development (CoELPD).

For more information: Contact the Centre of Expertise for Learning and Professional Development.
