Please note that this course is only open to Justice Canada Legal Professionals.
The objective of this course is to highlight the differences between prerogative immunity and interjurisdictional immunity; to describe the origin and evolution of these two doctrines; and to review recent case law.
At the end of this workshop, participants should be able to understand the differences between the two doctrines and know how to assess an operational immunity issue.
