Prior to registering for a learning activity, you should discuss your participation and receive your manager’s approval. All training should be included in your Learning and Development Plan, located in your Performance Management Agreement.

The Essentials of Legal Practice Program (ELPP) – What Department of Justice Employees Need to Know - Legal Practice (Part A)
This legal orientation course is aimed at providing employees of the Department of Justice, who may or may not have a legal training / education background, with knowledge of applicable legal principles and terminology. Participants will be introduced to legal practices (part A) and to some of the primary substantive areas of law (part B), and will gain an appreciation of some of the Department’s areas of legal work.
